OFPP’s proposals could change federal contracting

The Office of Federal Procurement Policy will require agencies to submit business cases for new multi-agency and agencywide multiple award contracts.

As Federal News Radio has been telling you, the proliferation of multiple award contracts over the last decade is costing agencies and vendors millions of dollars a year.

OFPP’s decision to require business cases is just one of several changes announced today at the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Ad Hoc Subcommittee on Contracting Oversight hearing.
