December 30, 2010 — Are federal agencies and, particularly, the armed services using the expertise that’s in the private sector in the most effective way? Not always.

This week on Federal Security Spotlight host Tom Temin talks to Riley Repko, the senior advisor for cybersecurity to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Requirements at the Air Force.

Using his experience in the private sector, Repko proposes a whole new model for how large and small companies can transfer knowledge to the government in a way that’s equitable to everyone but also speeds the insertion of new technology.
