Secretary of State John Kerry will chair a ministerial debate of the United Nations Security Council today. His focus will be the situation in Iraq. As part of the U.S. Presidency of the Security Council for the month of September, Kerry is convening the Council to gauge support for the new Iraqi government and emphasize the need for broad political inclusivity as the new government pursues its agenda on behalf of the Iraqi people.
