Do feds miss out on hiring the best and the brightest?
The Partnership for Public Service and PDRI just released a report suggesting just that. The report is titled: The Weakest Link: How Strengthening Assessment Leads to Better Federal Hiring.
The federal government has an unprecedented opportunity to hire the best and the brightest but often it’s the hiring process gets in the way.
Josh Joseph is the program manager for research at the Partnership for Public Service. He joined the Dorobek Insider and said this report was more than just a simple survey of Human Resources managers.
Elaine Pulakos is the Chief Operating Officer at PDRI, which works with federal agencies on HR issues, including hiring. She also joined the Dorobek Insider to discuss the findings of the report.
