GSA releases new online travel services proposals

The GSA released a request for proposals for a new suite of online travel services for all civilian agencies.

The General Services Administration this week released the request for proposals for a new suite of online travel services for all civilian agencies.

This contract would replace a multiple award procurement GSA gave to three companies in 2003. Tim Burke is the director of the Office of Travel and Transportation Services in the Federal Acquisition Service at GSA.

He tells our own Jason Miller about the impact on the government from the first electronic travel system and how that experience is laying the groundwork for the version 2.
