President-elect Barack Obama has yet to name most of the people he would like to serve in his administration, including the person who would fill the role of National Security Advisor. Who is he likely to pick and how important will this position be in an Obama administration? Professor Mac Destler is director of the University of Maryland School of Public Policy’s Program on International Security and Economic Policy. Mr. Destler is also the co-author of a book on this subject titled “In The Shadow of the Oval Office“, set for release next year. He joins us with his advice for the President-elect.
