Consumer lending continues to lag in this sluggish economy, but the Small Business Administration is trying to insulate thousands of veterans-turned-business owners. SBA’s Patriot Express loan program has lent more than $315-million dollars to give small, veteran-owned companies a boost. William Elmore is the Assistant Administrator for Veterans Business Development at SBA. He joins us to discuss this milestone, which is made possible in part by the Recovery Act.
