Government cyber researchers want more data

Infosecurity.com reports on a survey that founds most cybersecurity team members said they need more information about case studies and best practices.

Government-run cybersecurity teams are saying they want more data.

Almost all national computer security incident response teams participating in a new survey say they would like to receive more information on new incident response techniques, in addition to details on new vulnerabilities, case studies and best practices.

But according to Infosecurity.com, the same survey found that only 15 percent of the teams’ researchers actually subscribe to any cybersecurity mailing lists or domain name system registries.

The survey was conducted by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.
