Stop loss pay application deadline extended

The deadline for servicemembers and veterans seeking stop loss pay from September 11th, 2001 and September 30th, 2009 now have until March 4, 2011.

The deadline to apply for Retroactive Stop Loss Special Pay has been extended once more. Now you have until March fourth to apply for the special pay. The extra pay under Stop Loss was set up for military members whose service was involuntarily extended between September 11th, 2001 and September 30th, 2009. The military has been reaching out to service members and retirees through direct mail, service organizations, the media and social networks to make sure they know that there is money waiting for them.
