The Army is still looking for about 35,000 soldiers who are owed “stop loss” bonuses. That’s in addition to the other 22,000 soldiers who have applied for the special pay but haven’t gotten it yet. USA Today reports the Pentagon says it has already paid $245 million dollars in bonuses for 84,000 soldiers since the law passed.
