Microsoft announces new cloud computing option

Microsoft introduces a new service to deliver the Power of Productivity to customers worldwide. Microsoft\'s Christine Zmuda explains how it works.

There’s a race on among major IT vendors to provide cloud services to the government. The idea is to let agencies get their work done and pay a monthly fee, rather than owning and maintaining computers and the infrastructure needed to keep them running. The latest offering comes from Microsoft. Today the company opens its customer-relationship management, or CRM, application as an online service. Joining with details is Christine Zmuda, Strategic Alliance Director, Microsoft Public Sector.
