OPM tracks cyber skills of the pros

The Office of Personnel Management says it’s finished a survey of 50,000 cyber defense employees and supervisors all over government. The survey is part of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education or NICE.

OPM says it is using the results to pinpoint the skills cybersecurity professionals really need to have. It also wants to create a plan to recruit more cyber pros and make sure they’re doing the job.
