Navy awards hundreds of contracts under SeaPort-E program

The Navy awards contracts to 333 companies under its SeaPort-E services acquisition program.

The Navy awards contracts to 333 companies under its SeaPort-E services acquisition program, Defense.gov reports.

SeaPort-E already has more than 2,000 contracts. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts are for use by several Naval commands and the Marine Corps. SeaPort-E encompasses nearly two dozen functional areas. The Navy expects SeaPort-E orders to reach $5.3 billion per year.
