The Transportation Department is looking for help to test the strength of its air and ground transportation systems against cybersecurity threats.

The Transportation Department is looking for help to test the strength of its air and ground transportation systems against cybersecurity threats.

In a new solicitation, DoT said it is seeking partners for its Volpe Center laboratories. It wants to figure out whether the transportation systems could withstand cyber threats to operations, command and control, and communications. The agency said the national transportation system was increasingly reliant on computers and that was increasing its vulnerability to cyber attacks.
