At the heart of solid federal acquisition lies a well-trained workforce.

Federal buying rules make procurement a profession unto itself. But even professionals need ongoing career training.

One place they go is the National Defense University’s iCollege, which open to all federal employees — not just DoD employees.

In an interview with The Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Emily Kopp, iCollege professors Andy Gravatt and Russ Mattern shared how the school stays up-to-date on acquisition practices across government and the recent changes they’ve made to the curriculum.
