For several years, the Defense Department has been figuring out how to extend cybersecurity assurance further down the supply chain from its prime contractors. Since December suppliers to DoD have faced new requirements — at least those who know it. Now a new bill has surfaced, which backers say would increase awareness of and competency in cybersecurity among small manufacturers. Rep.
