NIST helps small business at big dataloss risks

NIST has published a guide to help small businesses and organizations understand how to provide basic security for their information, systems and networks.

Small businesses make up more than 95 percent of U.S. businesses, which makes it even more important for them to secure their data. The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released a guide to help small business owners understand the risks they face and what they can do to stop them. Richard Kissel is an information security specialist at NIST.
