FDA responds to new pandemic preparedness guidelines

The federal government is proposing big changes to the way it works with companies to fight the flu and other diseases. This means reform at the Food and Drug Administration. Health and Human Services has laid out a plan to help researchers in the private and academic sectors develop new drugs and vaccines. George Korch is the Science Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at Health and Human Services.
