The Department of Homeland Security is inviting professionals from the private sector to work at DHS – without government pay.
It’s part of the Loaned Executive Program. The idea is to give people the chance to lend their talents to the government.
DHS Assistant Secretary Douglas Smith explains how the program works and what is motivating people to work without pay.
