New security risks with Google-based smartphones

In your cybersecurity update, think twice before trusting the calendar or address book on your smart phone.

Google is patching a hole that could let hackers into your Android smart phone. The security flaw opens the door for someone else to edit your contacts and calendar. Reports say it’s only a problem when you’re on an open WiFi network. Google says the fix will be automatic.
