The White House is threatening to veto the fiscal 2012 defense authorization bill. The White House says it wants some changes to the bill. The headliner they want off the bill is any additional funding for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter propulsion system, Government Executive reports. Congress stopped funding for the engine in this year’s Continuing Resolution, but the House added the engine to the 2012 bill.
