The Pentagon Budget will be front and center in about a month. Among the programs and issues on the bubble are the Army’s Future Combat systems. The GAO also recommended that Congress not approve full funding for the Army project until the Pentagon gives a complete picture of the budgets involved. The F-22 Raptor program and the Zumwalt-class destroyer DDG-1000 are also be looked at. This comes as President Barack Obama proposed a 4% increase in defense spending last month.
