How do you craft the most effective team? A new study from Carnegie Mellon University shows that intelligent people don’t always make a team smarter.
It turns out a more important factor in team-building is social awareness, “the ability to pick up on emotional cues in others,” Wired reports.
Anita Woolly, assistant professor of organizational behavior and theory at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business, joined the DorobekINSIDER to discuss how size, personality and gender factor into building an effective team.
