Peter Alterman, the senior advisor to the chief information officer at the agency, tells Federal News Radio NIH is “working to understand how new technology options can be used to advance the scientific research agenda” at the agency.

He spoke with host Tom Temin at the Federal Senior Management Conference. They discussed how technology could help the agency cultivate data it already owns into something useful for the public.
