Obama administration’s Veterans Day plans

The Washington Post reports on what the administration\'s top officials are doing to mark Veterans Day.

The Obama administrations has more than a dozen events planned for Veterans Day, reports Ed O’Keefe in his Federal Eye blog in the Washington Post.

  • President Obama will deliver a speech at the U.S. Army Garrison in Yongsan in Seoul, South Korea.
  • Meanwhile, First Lady Michelle Obama will stop at the Kaiserslautern Military Community, the largest U.S. military community outside the continental U.S. It’s located in a region that encompasses parts of Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg.
  • Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
