May 10, 2013 — Every year in May, law enforcement officers from around the country and at all levels of government gather to honor those who serve and remember those who have fallen in the line of duty.
Designated in 1962, National Police Week has grown over the years to encompass thousands of participants joining events such as the Candlelight Vigil and the National Peace Officer’s Memorial Service.
Joining host Bill Bransford to talk about the events and message of National Police Week is Craig Floyd, CEO of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
During the show, Floyd will highlight the largest events of the week and share information on the work of NLEOMF in remembering and recognizing the contributions of law enforcement officers.
