February 7, 2012 — This week on Off the Shelf, Steve Schooner, Nash & Cibinic Professor of Government Procurement Law and Co-Director of the Government Procurement Law Program at The George Washington University Law School, provides his thought-provoking views on current federal procurement policy developments.
Professor Schooner discusses the potential public policy implications regarding the role of contractors in supporting the war fighter, and the spike in contractor causalities in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He also gives his take on a host of key procurement issues, including the current focus on small business contracting, the Better Buying Power initiative, and the changing of the guard at OMB.
