What TSA can do to prevent terror incidents on airplanes

If there’s any lesson to be learned from Christmas Day’s apparent terrorist attempt aboard Northwest Flight 253, it’s that those who wish to do America harm are always looking for a way around whatever security measures have been put in place to protect American lives. So, what does that mean for the Department of Homeland Security? Dr. J. Bennet Waters is Chief Operating Officer of the Chertoff Group, which consults business leaders and local government officials on matters of homeland security. Dr. Waters was previously Deputy Assistant Secretary at the TSA. He joins us with some insight on how DHS and the TSA can help prevent another attempt of the sort we saw this past weekend.
