Lack of training. Spotty use of the latest tools. Leaving billions and billions of potential savings on the table. It’s a pretty grim picture of federal procurement. But a new survey of buyers and procurement managers themselves in the federal government paints that very picture. The survey was conducted under the auspices of Meritalk, a social networking operation for the federal government. The president of Meritalk, Steve O’Keeffe, has details.
