Sammies finalist takes down Mexican drug cartel

We continue our Sammies Tracker series, speaking to finalists in this year’s Service to America Medals from the Partnership for Public Service. The Drug Enforcement Administration’s Carl Pike and his team arrested more than 1,000 people connected with a powerful Mexican drug cartel. The Project Coronado Team seized $32 million in cash, plus one and a half tons of methamphetamine. Pike’s team is a finalist in the Justice and Law Enforcement Sammies category. He joins the Federal Drive to discuss the take down.
