Wennergren named to new Defense post

David Wennergren is the new assistant deputy chief management officer for the Office of the Deputy Secretary of Defense.

The Defense Department is getting a new assistant deputy chief management officer, reports NextGov. It’s David Wennergren. You might remember him as DOD’s deputy chief information officer. Wennergren’s previous position in the IT office is about to end. It’s on the chopping block as part of a Pentagon effort to save $100 billion over the next five years.
