As the clock continues to count down to a shutdown, Federal News Radio is hearing from federal workers about how a shutdown will impact them. While some feds consider a shutdown an opportunity to take a little time off, others say they can’t afford the time off – they’re already living paycheck to paycheck. Kenneth Jones is the president of AFGE local 375. He’s in Chicago, and tells Federal News Radio that it is impossible for workers to prepare when they’re not sure what to prepare for…or for how long.
