The Obama administration’s proposed cybersecurity policy suggests an exchange program of sorts with the private sector. Federal officials testifying before the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee explained the plan to lawmakers, but didn’t provide specifics about how cyber experts would be transitioned. James Lewis of the Center for Strategic and International Studies tells the Washington Business Journal that these are probably long-term rotational assignments, designed to bring people on board more quickly, rather than increasing the number of people hired.
