The National Institute of Standards and Technology has inked a deal with the Education Department and the National Cybersecurity Education Council to better promote formal cybersecurity education.
The deal aims to leverage a public-private partnership in increasing efforts for cyber education.
The three offices will work with their local and state counterparts to enhance cyber programs for students of all ages — from kindergarten through high school, as well as colleges and vocational schools. The move is designed to meet the goals set in the new National Initiative for Cybersecurity or NICE.
