A U.S. military delegation arrived in London to cheer on service members participating in the Paralympic Games.

Army General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, toured the venue and visited with athletes. Dempsey was accompanied by Kareem Dale, special assistant to President Barack Obama for disability policy. Also with Dempsey was EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson.

Counting members of the military, the U.S. has 227 athletes participating in the Paralympics.
