Still, when releasing government-held data sets to the public, it's important to strike a balance between providing open data and protecting citizens' privacy. Emily Shaw is the Deputy Policy Director at the Sunlight Foundation. She joined Tom Temin on the Federal Drive to discuss how the reach that balance.
