All four active services and the six reserve components met or exceeded their recruiting goals through the third quarter of fiscal 2012, according to recently released Defense Department data.

The Pentagon also announced the Army, Air Force, Marine Corp and Navy had strong retention rates through June, and the reserve components are on target to achieve their fiscal year attrition rates.
