One of the most important issues defining work/life in the U.S. Navy is sexual harassment and sexual assault.
That was the subject of a panel discussion at the 23rd Annual Women’s Symposium at the Sea Services Leadership Association, which wrapped up today at the Washington Hilton hotel.
Federal News Radio’s Max Cacas was at the conference and tells us more about the conference, which involved not only women serving in the Navy, but those also serving at sea in the Coast Guard, and also the Marine Corps.
Rear Admiral Michael Browne, who heads up the Navy’s Personal Readiness and Community Support Branch, says this issue is a matter of the highest priority.
