The Army and the Department of Veterans Affairs entered into a formal agreement that will allow workers at Arlington National Cemetery to enroll in the VA’s National Cemetery Administration Training Center, according to a Defense Department release.

The Training Center has been open for about six years, emphasizing technical, supervisory and leadership training for employees ranging from supervisors and equipment operators to groundskeepers and cemetery representatives.

McHugh also announced that Patrick Hallinan has been selected as the permanent superintendent at the Training Center. He formerly served as acting superintendent.
