Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), chairman-in-waiting for the House Oversight Committee, said he will expand oversight and launch investigations into the bank bailout, stimulus funds and possibly health care reform, Politico reports.

Issa said he wants each of the seven subcommittees to hold one to two hearings each week, meaning he will chair 280 oversight committees in one year.

Issa said,”Oversight should be done with a balance for the American people and not as a gotcha.”
