June 27, 2014 — This week on “Fed Access”, terrorism experts Chris Harmon and Michael Kraft join host Derrick Dortch to discuss how the U.S. government is taking the fight to terrorism and the challenge federal agencies face as they deal with this evolving threat.

Harmon is the Major General Matthew C. Horner Chair of Military Theory at Marine Corps University, and the author of: “A Citizen’s Guide to Terrorism and Counterterrorism”.

Kraft is a counterterrorism consultant and writer, and a former senior advisor in the U.S. Department of State Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism. He’s the author of: “U.S. Government Counterterrorism: A Guide to Who Does What”.

Later in the show, Derrick speaks with Linda Rix, co-CEO of FastYeti Incorporated, about a new website she has launched to help veterans get the benefits they need.

The website is vetsHQ.com, and helps veterans navigate their way through a range of 75 benefit programs offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
