Arlington Cemetery employees to receive job training

This will be the first formal training program ever for Arlington National Cemetery employees.

Workers at Arlington National Cemetery will receive formal training for the first time. Army Secretary John McHugh says the training will be offered by Veterans Affairs. GovExec reports the program was created in 2004 to provide formal job instruction to workers at more than 130 cemeteries that VA runs. Arlington is managed by the Army. In June, the Army’s inspector general said the cemetery misidentified or misplaced 211 gravesites. Since then, there have been reports of many more.
