The proposed Social Security tax cut might have triggered a civil war among federal employees. Employees in the Civil Service Retirement System say the move amounts to a tax break for everyone but them. Employees in the Federal Employees Retirement System say there’s nothing for CSRS employees to complain about because they don’t pay Social Security tax anyway. The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association has been looking into this issue. NARFE Legislative Director Dan Adcock helps us separate myth from reality.
