The proposed Social Security tax cut might have triggered a civil war among federal employees. Employees in the Civil Service Retirement System say the move amounts to a tax break for everyone but them. Employees in the Federal Employees Retirement System say there’s nothing for CSRS employees to complain about because they don’t pay Social Security tax anyway.
