Google bots accused of over-scrubbing
Many genuine blogs have been blocked/removed as they were considered to be spam blogs.
Some say that Google has gone a step too far in cybersecurity. Digital Journal reports that Google is using automated bots to cleanse offensive blogs from its platform. But it appears that geniune blogs are getting caught up in the cleansing, and are being blocked or removed. Bloggers are raising civil liberty concerns, saying that Google has to figure out how to protect the privacy of its users while protecting their right to free speech.
