MSPB to comply with Chambers reinstatement

Former Park Police Chief Teresa Chambers met with the Interior Department yesterday to discuss returning to her old job. As Federal News Radio has been reporting the Merit Systems Protection Board has ruled that Chambers be reinstated. Chambers was fired seven years ago after voicing concerns about funding and staffing. The government says it will not appeal the Board’s decision.
