Just as Congress wraps up one debate – the one that nearly shut down the government – another heated discussion is getting underway. House Republicans are threatening to withhold their votes to raise the debt ceiling unless the White House agrees to major spending cuts. But the White House says spending cuts are a separate issue, and the debt ceiling should be extended without attachments. Erik Wasson, staff writer with The Hill newspaper, joins us with details.
