As federal agencies continue to work toward being more ‘open and transparent,’ some feds are using social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to share information and get their message out. There’s a new technology called “SlideShare” which the White House has been using to post documents, like the president’s birth certificate, online. Damien LaVera, Director of Public Affairs at the National Nuclear Security Administration, tells us how his agency has been able to use SlideShare.
