Navy launches new integrated, secure portal

There\'s a new web portal for Navy and the Marine Corps. Learn more in today\'s DoD Report

The Navy has lauched a new Web portal they say will cut duplication, reduce operating costs and improve security. It will serve Navy and the Marine Corps. Navy’s Chief Information Officer says consolidating web services into this one integrated and centrally controlled portal not only saves money, but enhances security and makes finding data easy and effective. NextGov reports, the Navy portal will also be aligned with Defense plans and programs.
