“Success is not about being someone else but to find your unique value,” Dr. Allison Druin, special adviser for the National Digital Strategy of the National Park Service, told Women of Washington hosts Aileen Black and Gigi Schumm. She encouraged listeners to “find and surround yourself with others that can help you amplify who you are”.
Druin shared her career journey from building at University of Maryland to taking a leave of absence to assist the NPS to develop its digital strategy. Druin is a professor at the University of Maryland’s iSchool. She is taking a two-year leave of absence to assist the National Park Service as a visiting scholar and will help NPS develop.
