June 21, 2013 — This week on “Fed Access”, Evan Lesser, founder and director of ClearanceJobs.com, joins host Derrick Dortch to talk about how the clearance job community is being affected by the controversy surrounding the National Security Agency’s secret surveillance program.
Lesser will discuss the impact on federal employees with security clearances and on contractors that do business with the government.
In addition, he will talk about how the security clearance process works, and whether it should be changed to prevent future leaks.
Lesser will also give his take on how sequestration and budget cuts are affecting the clearance job market and which agencies are currently hiring workers with security clearances.
